More experienced pilots require much more roll, more dive in turns, more precise and responsive handling and therefore better manoeuvrability in all flight regimes.  This is why the smaller sizes are not simply scaled down, they are designed and tuned to meet the high demands of expert pilots looking for the sickest lines.
